Plot:
Frans, an elementary school teacher gets involved in a conspiracy to save Geert-Jan Grisenstijn from the hands of his uncle, the evil count.
Ten-year-old orphaned Geert-Jan (Czeslaw de Wijs) lives with his evil uncle, Count Grisenstijn (Ferd Hugas), at the family castle and isn’t allowed to have contact with the people from the nearby village. Centuries ago, one of their ancestors hid a treasure in the castle and the Count desperately wants to find it for himself, although Geert-Jan will be the rightful owner when it is found. The Count needs his nephew to help him find the treasure.
A few of the village people, who are aware of the situation, are afraid Geert-Jan’s life may be in danger once the treasure is found and the Count has no more use for him. They conspire to save the boy, but if they want to succeed, they need a person inside the castle and they choose new school teacher Frans van der Steg (Peter Bos), who can be Geert-Jan’s tutor. But is he willing to play that part and how to get him into the castle?
Посмотрел фильм, довольно интересно, хоть и не понятен язык совершенно. Если бы не было описания, то решил бы, что ребята нашли какой-то проход между настоящим и прошлым. И путешествовали туда-сюда с приключениями.
