While most seven-year-old boys ride bikes and play computer games, Samuel preaches outside an abortion clinic, telling people they'll spend eternity in hell if they use the services within.
The son of two Mississippi born-again Christians, he gave his first sermon aged three.
This was after his father told him that if he sinned he would go to hell - the same father who wears a sandwich board announcing adulterers and homosexuals are doomed.
Samuel's mother also encourages him in his preaching, although she says, "Why God gave him the desire to preach in front of an abortion clinic door, I don't know."
I think anybody watching this documentary about child preachers will know exactly why.
While adult preachers have been able to choose their calling, the youngsters we meet tonight were thrown into this life at an age when kids struggle with choosing their favourite toy, let alone a faith.
Nine-year-old Terry became the world's youngest minister when he was six.
Now his father, who was "too young" to raise Terry himself, acts as his manager and is selling merchandise at his son's gatherings. The pressure put on these children by their parents is immense and it makes for a captivating and at the same time very depressing film.
You can't fail to be moved by reaction created by Samuel's father ranting at a group of New Yorkers who have, understandably, taken offence to his sandwich board.
Samuel is left bewildered and scared.
"I want Momma," he says, and bursts into tears.
