Plot

Teenage Ole is sent to boarding school by his single mother so he can learn more about life as he goes through puberty. But he finds the other boys just have their own problems.
Ole's mother is a widow, and in order to ensure Ole a proper education, she sends him to boarding school. He settles in quickly, and makes friends with the class leader, Peter, who is a child of divorce, the "fatty," Rasmus, and Mogens, who has been in an orphanage and whose parentage is a bit... "mysterious."
The boys' day-to-day life consists of going to school, a bit of shoplifting, crushes and innocent eroticism – as well as clashes with local "rockers."
The film gives an honest picture of how boys in the early stages of puberty perceive themselves and their surroundings.
